THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR MIDDLE TENNESSEE.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

YET WITH ANOTHER DAY ACROSS THE MID STATE OF MOIST ATMOSPHERIC
CONDITIONS AND DAYTIME HEATING INFLUENCES...SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS
NORTH...TO ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS ALONG THE TENNESSEE/ALABAMA
BORDER...WILL DEVELOP ACROSS MIDDLE TENNESSEE DURING THE LATE
MORNING THROUGH EARLY EVENING HOURS. SOME OF THESE THUNDERSTORMS
WILL HAVE THE POTENTIAL OF BECOMING STRONG...PRODUCING STRONG
WINDS ALONG WITH BREIF HEAVY RAINFALL. THE BRIEF HEAVY RAINFALL
COULD RESULT IN PONDING OF WATER ON AREA ROADWAYS AND LOW
LYING...POORLY DRAINED...AREAS.

ALSO...A FEW OF THESE THUNDERSTORMS COULD POSSIBLY REACH SEVERE
THRESHOLDS...WITH DAMAGING WINDS THE MAIN CONCERN.

HHEAT INDEX VALUES THIS AFTERNOON ARE EXPECTED TO BE AROUND
100 DEGREES GENERALLY ALONG AND WEST OF INTERSTATE 65.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...WEDNESDAY THROUGH MONDAY

HOT WEATHER WILL CONTINUE AT LEAST THROUGH THE UPCOMING WEEKEND.
HIGH TEMPERATURES ACROSS MIDDLE TENNESSEE...EXCEPT THE CUMBERLAND
PLATEAU...ARE EXPECTED TO BE PRIMARILY IN THE MID 90'S EACH DAY.
ACROSS THE WESTERN 2/3RDS OF THE MID STATE...HEAT INDICES WILL
BE AVERAGING BETWEEN 100 TO 105 DEGREES...WITH SOME ISOLATED
SPOTS EXCEED 105 DEGREES.
