AT 547 PM CDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR WAS TRACKING A
STRONG THUNDERSTORM NEAR FRANKLIN. THE STORM SHOWED LITTLE MOVEMENT.
PEOPLE IN NORTHERN WILLIAMSON AND SOUTHERN DAVIDSON COUNTIES...
INCLUDING THE CITY OF FRANKLIN...SHOULD MONITOR THE WEATHER SITUATION
CLOSELY. LISTEN FOR POSSIBLE WARNINGS AND BE PREPARED TO TAKE
APPROPRIATE ACTION SHOULD SEVERE WEATHER THREATEN.
PENNY SIZE HAIL...AND WINDS 40 TO 50 MPH ARE EXPECTED WITH THIS
STORM. IN ADDITION...BRIEF BUT VERY HEAVY RAINFALL WILL CAUSE
CONSIDERABLE PONDING OF WATHER ON ROADS AND HIGHWAYS.
