AT 502 PM CDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR WAS TRACKING
SEVERAL STRONG THUNDERSTORMS FROM NEAR DICKSON...AND EXTENDING 12
MILES TO THE SOUTHWEST OF DICKSON. MOVEMENT WAS NORTHEAST AT 5 MPH.
ONE OF THE STORMS WILL BE ABOUT...
5 MILES WEST OF WHITE BLUFF BY 530 PM CDT.
PEOPLE IN DICKSON...EASTERN HUMPHREYS AND NORTHERN HICKMAN
COUNTIES...INCLUDING THE CITIES OF DICKSON AND BURNS...SHOULD MONITOR
THE WEATHER SITUATION CLOSELY. LISTEN FOR POSSIBLE WARNINGS AND BE
PREPARED TO TAKE APPROPRIATE ACTION SHOULD SEVERE WEATHER THREATEN.
HALF INCH SIZE HAIL...AND WINDS 40 TO 50 MPH ARE EXPECTED WITH THESE
STORMS. ALSO...BRIEF BUT VERY HEAVY RAINFALL MAY CAUSE CONSIDERABLE
PONDING OF WATER ON ROADS AND HIGHWAYS.
