PRECIPITATION ACROSS MIDDLE TENNESSEE EARLY FRIDAY MORNING.
SNOW WILL DEVELOP ACROSS NORTHERN MIDDLE TENNESSEE. IN PLACES CLOSER
TO THE ALABAMA STATE LINE...TEMPERATURES WILL BE SLIGHTLY WARMER...
PRODUCING A MIXTURE OF RAIN...SNOW...SLEET...AND FREEZING RAIN.
THE PRECIPITATION WILL SWITCH TO ALL SNOW FRIDAY NIGHT ACROSS THE

MORNING...AND WILL SPREAD ACROSS THE MID STATE THROUGH FRIDAY.
THE WINTRY PRECIPITATION WILL CONTINUE AND FRIDAY NIGHT...WITH
LIGHT SNOW LASTING INTO SATURDAY.
* MAIN IMPACT: ON FRIDAY...LOOK FOR SIGNIFICANT ACCUMULATIONS OF
SNOW ACROSS NORTHERN MIDDLE TENNESSEE...AND RAIN...SNOW...AND
ICE ACROSS SOUTHERN MIDDLE TENNESSEE. FRIDAY NIGHT...PRECIPITATION
WILL SWITCH TO ALL SNOW. TOTAL SNOWFALL OF 3 TO 6 INCHES MAY OCCUR
ALONG THE I-40 CORRIDOR. FOR FAR SOUTHERN AREAS...AN INCH OR 2 OF
SNOW MAY FALL ON TOP OF ONE QUARTER INCH OF ICE.
* OTHER IMPACTS: ROADS AND BRIDGES WILL BECOME SLIPPERY AND DANGEROUS
FOR DRIVING. GUSTY WINDS MAY CAUSE DRIFTING SNOW...AND WIND
CHILLS FRIDAY NIGHT WILL DROP INTO THE TEENS AND SINGLE DIGITS.
