SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH FOR PORTIONS OF
EXTREME NORTHEAST GEORGIA
WESTERN NORTH CAROLINA
UPSTATE SOUTH CAROLINA
MIDDLE AND EASTERN TENNESSEE
EXTREME SOUTHWEST VIRGINIA
EFFECTIVE THIS THURSDAY AFTERNOON AND EVENING FROM 145 PM UNTIL
900 PM EDT.
HAIL TO 1 INCH IN DIAMETER...THUNDERSTORM WIND GUSTS TO 70
MPH...AND DANGEROUS LIGHTNING ARE POSSIBLE IN THESE AREAS.
THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH AREA IS APPROXIMATELY ALONG AND 50
STATUTE MILES NORTH AND SOUTH OF A LINE FROM 80 MILES WEST
SOUTHWEST OF NASHVILLE TENNESSEE TO 45 MILES SOUTHEAST OF BRISTOL
