AN AREA OF SHOWERS...WITH EMBEDDED THUNDERSTORMS...WILL CONTINUE
MOVING RAPIDLY TO THE NORTHEAST THROUGH THE CUMBERLAND PLATEAU
REGION OF EASTERN MIDDLE TENNESSEE. THIS AREA SHOULD MOVE EAST
OF THE CUMBERLAND PLATEUA REGION BY AROUND 7 PM. SOME OF THESE
THUNDERSTORMS COULD STILL BE STRONG TO SEVERE...WITH DAMAGING
STRAIGHT LINE WINDS...LARGE HAIL...FREQUENT CLOUD TO GROUND
LIGHTNING ...AND BRIEF HEAVY RAINFALL THE MAIN CONCERNS.
HOURLY RAINFALL RATES WILL GENERALLY RANGE FROM ONE QUARTER TO AROUND
ONE HALF OF AN INCH. HOWEVER...IN THE VICINITY OF THE STRONGER SHOWERS
AND THUNDERSTORMS...HOURLY RAINFALL RATES WILL RANGE UP TO ONE INCH...
WITH LOCALLY HIGHER AMOUNTS POSSIBLE.
