...THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN NASHVILLE, TN HAS ISSUED A FLOOD ADVISORY FOR
THE FOLLOWING RIVERS IN MIDDLE ALABAMA...TENNESSEE...
SHOAL CREEK NEAR IRON CITY AFFECTING LAUDERDALE AND LAWRENCE COUNTIES
.3 TO 5 INCHES OF RAIN HAS FALLEN OVER SHOAL CREEK IN THE PAST TWO DAYS.
ADDITIONAL RAINFALL EXPECTED WILL BRING THE CREEK TO NEAR BANKFUL AND
POSSIBLY LEAD TO MINOR FLOODING.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
PERSONS NEAR AND ALONG SHOAL CREEK SHOULD REMAIN ALERT FOR RISING WATER.

THE SHOAL CREEK NEAR IRON CITY
* AT 10AM WEDNESDAY THE STAGE WAS 11.2 FEET.
* FLOOD STAGE IS 14.0 FEET.
* THE RIVER WILL CONTINUE TO FALL TO NEAR 9.1 FEET BY TOMORROW MORNING.
