...HEAVY RAIN FALLING IN NORTHERN COFFEE COUNTY...
AT 430 PM CDT...HEAVY RAIN WAS FALLING ACROSS FAR NORTHERN COFFEE COUNTY
NEAR THE CANNON COUNTY LINE...WHERE A TOTAL OF ONE AND HALF INCHES HAD
FALLEN IN THE LAST 3 HOURS. WITH THIS AMOUNT OF RAIN...CREEKS AND
STREAMS WILL BE ON THE RISE. DOPPLER WEATHER RADAR CONTINUES TO SHOW
RAIN FALLING IN THIS AREA...SO ADDITIONAL RAINFALL OF ANOTHER HALF INCH
OR SO IS POSSIBLE DURING THE NEXT HOUR. MOTORISTS ARE URGED NOT CROSS
WHERE WATER COVERS THE ROAD...AND SLOW DOWN TO AVOID HYDROPLANING. MORE
SHOWERS AND ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS ARE PULLING NORTH FROM NORTHERN
ALABAMA THAT WILL AFFECT THIS AREA DURING THE EVENING WITH ADDITIONAL
RAINFALL.
