RAINFALL WILL CONTINUE TO ADVANCE EASTWARD BETWEEN NOW AND 8 AM CDT.
AT 615 AM CDT...THE LEADING EDGE OF THE SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS
EXTENDED FROM WESTMORELAND...TO OLD HICKORY...TO FRANKLIN...TO
COLUMBIA AND DOWN INTO THE WAYNESBORO AREA. RAINFALL RATES OF
1 TO 2 INCHES PER HOUR LOCALLY HAVE BEEN FAIRLY COMMON ACROSS
WESTERN MIDDLE TENNESSEE DURING THE LAST 2 HOURS. THIS ACTVITY
WILL MOVE EAST OF INTERSTATE 65 AND INTO EASTERN AREAS OF THE MID
STATE THIS MORNING. MOTORISTS ARE URGED NOT TO DRIVE WHERE WATER
COVERS THE ROAD.
