...A LINE OF SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS MOVING INTO CENTRAL AND
EASTERN PORTIONS OF MIDDLE TENNESSEE...
AT 840 AM...A LINE OF SHOWERS AND SCATTERED EMBEDDED
THUNDERSTORMS EXTENDED FROM RED BOILING SPRINGS...TO OLD
HICKORY...TO ST. JOSEPH. MOST OF THE THUNDERSTORM ACTIVITY HAS
WEAKENED OVER THE LAST FEW HOURS...AND IS MAINLY CONFINED TO AREAS
EAST OF INTERSTATE 65 AND NORTH OF INTERSTATE 40.
BY 1100 AM...THIS LINE OF SHOWERS AND SCATTERED EMBEDDED THUNDERSTORMS
WILL BE NEAR A JAMESTOWN...TO CROSSVILLE...TO WINCHESTER LINE.
HOURLY RAINFALL RATES WILL RANGE FROM ONE TENTH TO AROUND ONE HALF
OF AN INCH. WITH THE STRONGER SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS...HOURLY RAINFALL
RATES WILL RANGE FROM AROUND ONE HALF OF AN INCH TO AROUND ONE AND
ONE QUARTER INCHES.
SOME OF THESE THUNDERSTORMS WILL HAVE THE CAPABILITY OF PRODUCING
WIND GUSTS BETWEEN 30 AND 40 MPH.
BOTH SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS ARE MOVING TO THE EAST SOUTHEAST AT
30 TO 35 MPH.
