A FEW SPOTS ALONG THE CUMBERLAND PLATEAU GOT MOST OF THE RAIN
THIS EVENING.
A SERIES OF SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS MOVED ACROSS THE SAME
ISOLATED PART OF THE CUMBERLAND PLATEAU LATE THIS AFTERNOON AND
EVENING...AND DOPPLER RADAR ESTIMATES INDICATE RAIN TOTALS BETWEEN
ONE HALF AND ONE INCH HAVE FALLEN IN SOME SPOTS. THE AREA THAT HAS
RECEIVED THE MOST RAIN...RUNS FROM JUST SOUTH OF COOKEVILLE... TO
NEAR RAVENSCROFT...IN EXTREME EASTERN WHITE COUNTY...TO NEAR
LANTANA...SOUTHWEST OF CROSSVILLE. OUTSIDE OF THIS LITTLE
AREA...MOST OF THE REST OF MIDDLE TENNESSEE REMAINED DRY.
