W...WELL ORGANIZED QLCS WILL LIKELY CONTINUE TO MOVE EWD OVER THE
SRN APPALACHIANS INTO THE WRN PART OF THE HIGHLIGHTED REGION AROUND
21Z. RECENT SURFACE ANALYSIS SHOWS TRAILING PORTION OF OUTFLOW
BOUNDARY FROM S-CNTRL VA TSTM CLUSTER IS ELONGATED W TO E ACROSS
PARTS OF THE CNTRL NC PIEDMONT. AREAS ALONG AND S OF THE BOUNDARY
HAVE DESTABILIZED DUE IN PART TO STRONG DIABATIC HEATING.
UNCERTAINTY IN NWD EXTENT OF THREAT AREA IS LARGELY DUE TO
STABILIZING INFLUENCE DUE TO CONVECTIVE OVERTURNING FROM PRIOR MCS.
HOWEVER...STRONG HEATING HAS COMMENCED IN ITS WAKE...WITH A
DESTABILIZING BOUNDARY LAYER--LEADING IN PART TO AN INCREASED SEVERE
