...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE AFFECTING CLAY...JACKSON AND MACON
COUNTIES WITHIN THE NEXT HOUR...
AT 713 PM CDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR WAS TRACKING
AN AREA OF STRONG THUNDERSTORMS 10 MILES NORTHWEST OF
LAFAYETTE...MOVING SOUTHEAST AT 15 MPH. THESE THUNDERSTORMS COULD BE
NEAR A CELINA...TO NORTH SPRINGS...TO KIRBY LINE BY 9 PM.
SMALL HAIL...AND WINDS OF UP TO 40 TO 50 MPH ARE EXPECTED WITH THESE
STORMS. TOTAL RAINFALL AMOUNTS WITH THESE STORMS WILL RANGE FROM ONE
TENTH TO AS MUCH AS ONE HALF OF AN INCH...WITH LOCALLY HIGHER
AMOUNTS OF UP TO ONE AND ONE HALF INCHES WITH THE STRONGEST
THUNDERSTORMS POSSIBLE.
