...FREEZE WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 1 AM TO 9 AM CDT
TUESDAY...
...FREEZE WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 10 PM TUESDAY TO 7 AM
CDT WEDNESDAY...
UNSEASONABLY COLD AIR WILL REMAIN OVER THE MID STATE THROUGH
WEDNESDAY. LOW TEMPERATURES ARE EXPECTED TO DIP INTO THE UPPER 20S
TO LOWER 30S TONIGHT...AND INTO THE MID 20S TO LOWER 30S TUESDAY NIGHT.
TEMPERATURES HAVE BEEN GENERALLY ABOVE NORMAL ACROSS MID
TENNESSEE SINCE MID MARCH. SOME AREAS HAVE NOT HAD A HARD FREEZE
SINCE EARLY MARCH. BECAUSE OF THE MILD WEATHER...MANY PLANTS...
FLOWERS AND TREES ARE ALREADY IN BLOOM. TEMPERATURES IN THE MID
AND UPPER 20S COULD SEVERELY DAMAGE SOME VEGETATION. ACTIONS
SHOULD BE TAKEN TO PROTECT YOUR PLANTS FROM THE COLD.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
A FREEZE WARNING MEANS SUB-FREEZING TEMPERATURES ARE IMMINENT OR
HIGHLY LIKELY. THESE CONDITIONS WILL KILL CROPS AND OTHER
SENSITIVE VEGETATION.
