...A LINE OF STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WAS AFFECTING BENTON AND STEWART
COUNTIES...
AT 206 AM CDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR WAS TRACKING A
LINE OF STRONG THUNDERSTORMS 20 MILES WEST OF TENNESSEE RIVER. AS
THE STORMS APPROACH BENTON AND STEWART COUNTIES...THEY COULD
DRAG...STRONG WINDS JUST ABOVE THE SURFACE DOWN TO THE GROUND.
WINDS 40 TO 50 MPH ARE EXPECTED WITH THIS LINE OF STORMS.
THESE STORMS ARE BEING MONITORED CLOSELY...BY THE NATIONAL WEATHER
SERVICE IN NASHVILLE.
