* AT 206 PM CDT...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS...WITH TORRENTIAL RAINFALL...WERE
SPREADING SLOWLY EASTWARD ACROSS EASTERN MACON COUNTY...AND NORTH CENTRAL
SMITH COUNTY. DOPPLER RADAR ESTIMATES INDICATE THAT PARTS OF THE AREA...
AND OVER AN INCH OF RAIN FELL 8 MILES SOUTHEAST OF LAFAYETTE EARLIER THIS
AFTERNOON...IN ONLY 45 MINUTES. ANY ADDITIONAL HEAVY RAINFALL WILL
PRODUCE RAPID RUN OFF...AND THE POSSIBILITY FOR MINOR FLOODING.
A FLOOD ADVISORY MEANS RIVER OR STREAM FLOWS ARE ELEVATED OR PONDING
