AT 646 PM, SHOWERS WERE MOVING INTO AREAS EAST AND SOUTH OF THE
NASHVILLE METROPOLITAN AREA AS PART OF A WIDE BAND OF ACTIVITY.
THE STRONGEST STORMS WERE STILL LOCATED ALONG A LINE STRETCHING
FROM ADAMS, TO DICKSON, TO JUST WEST OF CENTERVILLE. THESE STORMS
ARE CAPABLE OF PRODUCING VERY HEAVY RAINFALL, GUSTY WINDS,
OCCASIONAL LIGHTNING, AND EVEN SMALL HAIL. INDIVIDUAL STORM
MOVEMENT IS TOWARD THE NORTHEAST AROUND 40 MILES AN HOUR.
IN ADDITION, WINDS WILL REMAIN FROM THE SOUTH OR SOUTHWEST AT 15
TO 25 MILES AN HOUR, WITH OCCASIONAL HIGHER GUSTS, ALTHOUGH WINDS
WILL BE SOMEWHAT DIMINISHED IN RAIN AREAS.
