TENNESSEE AND THE CUMBERLAND PLATEAU WILL CONTINUE TO MOVE SLOWLY
NORTH. RAINFALL UP TO ONE INCH IS POSSIBLE NEAR THE KENTUCKY LINE.
LITTLE ADDITIONAL RAINFALL IS EXPECTED SOUTH OF INTERSTATE 40 WEST
OF THE PLATEAU.
A LARGE AREA OF SHOWERS AND SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS WILL MOVE
NORTH FROM CENTRAL ALABAMA...AND ENTER EXTREME SOUTHERN MIDDLE
TENNESSEE LATE THIS MORNING.

IN THE CUMBERLAND PLATEAU WILL MOVE SLOWLY NORTH. MORE SHOWERS AND
THUNDERSTORMS WILL FORM IN THE PLATEAU...MAINLY IN THE SOUTH NEAR
THE CITIES OF ALTAMONT...MCMINNVILLE AND SPENCER. THESE CELLS WILL
MOVE NORTH...AND COULD PRODUCE RAINFALL UP TO TWO INCHES. PONDING
OF WATER ON ROADWAYS AND MINOR FLOODING IN SMALL CREEKS AND
STREAMS IS POSSIBLE.
