...STRONG TO SEVERE STORMS POSSIBLE ON THURSDAY...
A STRONG COMPLEX STORM SYSTEM IS FORECAST TO DEVELOP IN THE
CENTRAL PLAINS ON WEDNESDAY. SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL BECOME
LIKELY ACROSS MIDDLE TENNESSEE WEDNESDAY NIGHT AS A WARM FRONT
LIFTS NORTHWARD THROUGH THE AREA. BY THURSDAY MORNING...THE MID
STATE WILL BE IN THE WARM SECTOR...WITH BREEZY SOUTHERLY WINDS
ACROSS THE AREA DURING THE DAY THURSDAY DUE TO THE STRONG SURFACE
PRESSURE GRADIENT. AS THE COLD FRONT AND THE ASSOCIATED UPPER
TROUGH MOVES INTO WESTERN TENNESSEE AROUND MID DAY THURSDAY...LOOK
FOR STRONG THUNDERSTORMS...WITH ISOLATED SEVERE STORMS POSSIBLE IN
MIDDLE TENNESSE DURING THE AFTERNOON AND EVENING. AT THIS TIME THE
WIND AND TEMPERATURE PROFILES WOULD SUPPORT DAMAGING WINDS AND
LARGE HAIL.
