HAIL...IN ADDITION TO LOCALLY HEAVY RAINFALL...FROM NORTHEAST AR
INTO NORTHERN MS OVER THE NEXT SEVERAL HOURS.
BENEATH UPPER RIDGE...STRONG STORMS HAVE INTENSIFIED ALONG A WEAK
FRONTAL BOUNDARY IN A NORTHWEST-SOUTHEAST CORRIDOR FROM NORTHEAST AR
INTO NORTH CENTRAL MS. AMBIENT AIRMASS ALONG THE BOUNDARY IS VERY
UNSTABLE...WITH MLCAPES APPROACHING 3000 J/KG. DEEP LAYER WIND
FIELDS ARE VERY WEAK BENEATH THE RIDGE PER REGIONAL WSR-88D VWP
DATA...ALTHOUGH STRONG INSTABILITY WILL SUPPORT A
PULSE-TYPE/ISOLATED SEVERE THREAT. DRY AIR ALOFT/STEEP LOW LEVEL
LAPSE RATES WILL FAVOR THE POSSIBILITY OF ISOLATED DAMAGING
DOWNBURSTS...WITH EPISODIC LARGE HAIL POSSIBLE AS WELL. STORMS
