AT 4 PM...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED AN AREA OF
SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS ACROSS MIDDLE TENNESSEE MOVING NORTHEAST
AROUND 50 MPH. THE STRONGEST STORMS ARE OVER SOUTHERN MIDDLE
TENNESSEE AND WILL IMPACT INTERSTATE 24 SOUTHEAST OF NASHVILLE. IN
THE STRONGER STORMS...HEAVY RAINFALL WITH RATES UP TO 3 INCHES PER
HOUR MAY REDUCE VISIBILITIES QUICKLY TO NEAR ZERO AND PRODUCE PONDING
OF WATER ON ROADWAYS.
IF YOU ARE THE PATH OF AN APPROACHING STORM...MOVE TO A SAFE SHELTER
PREFERABLY INSIDE A STRONG BUILDING AND AWAY FROM WINDOWS.
