THROUGH 8 AM...A LARGE AREA OF RAIN WITH SCATTERED EMBEDDED
THUNDERSTORMS WAS MOVING THROUGH THE MID STATE. SOME STORMS MAY BE
STRONG WITH SMALL HAIL AND GUSTY WINDS. THE STRONGEST ACTIVITY WAS
LOCATED 50 MILES EITHER SIDE OF A LINE OF INTERSTATE 65 IN MIDDLE
TENNESSEE. THE STORMS WERE MOVING TO THE NORTHEAST AROUND 50 MPH. IN
THE STRONGER STORMS HEAVY PRECIPITATION COULD REDUCE VISIBILITIES
QUICKLY TO NEAR ZERO AND PRODUCE PONDING OF WATER ON ROADWAYS MAKING
THE MORNING DRIVING COMMUTE TO WORK HAZARDOUS.
