SCATTERED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL CONTINUE ACROSS PARTS OF
MIDDLE TENNESSEE INTO THE EARLY EVENING. THE STRONGEST CELLS WILL
OCCUR EAST OF INTERSTATE 65, ESPECIALLY ALONG THE UPPER PLATEAU, AND
ARE CAPABLE OF PRODUCING VERY HEAVY RAINFALL, PONDING ON ROADWAYS,
FREQUENT CLOUD TO GROUND LIGHTNING, AND WIND GUSTS TO 40 MILES AN
HOUR AND GREATER. THE ACTIVITY IS MOVING TOWARD THE NORTHEAST AROUND
15 MILES AN HOUR.
