...A SNOW ADVISORY IS IN EFFECT FOR THE EASTERN THIRD OF THE MID
STATE THROUGH 9 AM CST THIS FRIDAY MORNING...
.A STRONG UPPER LEVEL DISTURBANCE WILL CONTINUE TO MOVE ACROSS
NORTHERN AL THIS MORNING. MOISTURE ON THE NORTH SIDE OF THIS
FEATURE WILL BE IN THE FORM OF LIGHT TO MODERATE SNOW ACROSS THE
EASTERN THIRD OF THE MID STATE. THE WIDESPREAD PRECIPITATION
SHOULD END FROM WEST TO EAST BY 9 AM.

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN NASHVILLE HAS CANCELLED THE SNOW
ADVISORY FOR WESTERN AND CENTRAL PORTIONS OF THE MID STATE.
THE WIDESPREAD SNOWFALL ACTIVITY HAS PUSHED TO THE EAST OF I-65.
THUS...THE SNOW ADVISORY HAS BEEN CANCELLED FOR WESTERN AND
CENTRAL PORTIONS OF THE MID STATE.
KEEP IN MIND THAT THOUGH THE SNOW ADVISORY HAS BEEN
CANCELLED...ROADS ARE STILL SLUSHY AND SNOW COVERED IN SPOTS.
EXTREME CAUTION SHOULD STILL BE UTILIZED IF ONE MUST TRAVEL.

LIGHT TO MODERATE SNOW WILL CONTINUE ACROSS THE EASTERN THIRD OF
THE MID STATE THIS MORNING. WITH TEMPERATURES NEAR OR BELOW
FREEZING... ACCUMULATING SNOWS ARE EXPECTED FOR MOST AREAS.
ADDITIONAL SNOWFALL ACCUMULATIONS OF UP TO 1 INCH IS EXPECTED IN
THE ADVISORY AREA. TRAVEL IS NOT RECOMMENDED THIS MORNING ACROSS
THE MID STATE. MOTORISTS SHOULD TRAVEL ONLY IF NECESSARY. IF YOU
MUST TRAVEL USE EXTREME CAUTION AS MANY ROADWAYS ARE SLUSHY AND
MANY SECONDARY ROADS ARE SNOW COVERED.
A SNOW ADVISORY MEANS THAT PERIODS OF SNOW WILL CAUSE PRIMARILY
TRAVEL DIFFICULTIES. BE PREPARED FOR SNOW COVERED ROADS AND
LIMITED VISIBILITIES...AND USE CAUTION WHILE DRIVING.
