IN NASHVILLE...
FOR THE SECOND CONSECUTIVE DAY...THE TEMPERATURE IN NASHVILLE
HAS HIT THE CENTURY MARK. THE TEMPERATURE REACHED 100 DEGREES THIS
AFTERNOON AT THE NASHVILLE INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT...AT 517 PM CDT.
THE LAST TIME WE HAD TWO CONSECUTIVE DAYS WITH TRIPLE DIGITS IN
NASHVILLE...WAS BACK ON JULY 29TH AND 30TH OF 1999...WHEN THE
TEMPERATURE REACHED 100 DEGREES AND 101 DEGREES.
THE RECORD HIGH FOR THIS DATE IS 104 DEGREES SET BACK IN 1930.
AFTERNOON TRIPLE DIGIT TEMPERATURES ARE EXPECTED AGAIN ON
THURSDAY. THE LAST TIME NASHVILLE HAD THREE CONSECUTIVE DAYS
WITH TRIPLE DIGIT TEMPERATURES WAS BACK IN 1990...ON AUGUST
26TH...27TH AND 28TH...WITH 100 DEGREES...102 DEGREES AND 103
DEGREES.
IN 1988 NASHVILLE HAD 6 CONSECUTIVE DAYS OF TRIPLE DIGIT
TEMPERATURES.
THE ALL TIME RECORD...FOR MOST CONSECUTIVE DAYS WITH 100 DEGREES
