THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF MIDDLE TENNESSEE.
.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT
AN APPROACHING STORM SYSTEM WILL GREATLY INCREASE THE CHANCE OF
STORMS AS A WARM FRONT DEVELOPS NORTH OF THE MID STATE. AS A RESULT,
ATMOSPHERIC MOISTURE WILL INCREASE AS TEMPERATURES RISE INTO THE
MID AND UPPER 70S DURING THE AFTERNOON. SOME OF THESE STORMS MAY
BECOME STRONG, WITH SMALL HAIL AND GUSTY WINDS, AND A FEW MAY EVEN
REACH SEVERE THRESHOLDS, MAINLY IN AREAS NORTHWEST OF NASHVILLE.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...WEDNESDAY THROUGH MONDAY
AS THE STORM SYSTEM SWEEPS ACROSS THE MID STATE, THE POTENTIAL FOR
THUNDERSTORM DEVELOPMENT WILL REMAIN HIGH, WITH THE RISK OF SEVERE
STORMS INCREASING ON WEDNESDAY AND THURSDAY BEFORE THE COLD FRONT
FINALLY PUSHES THROUGH MIDDLE TENNESSEE.
.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
SPOTTER ACTIVATION MAY BE NEEDED AT TIMES FROM THIS AFTERNOON THROUGH
THURSDAY.
