THROUGH 9 AM...SCATTERED SHOWERS AND ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS WILL
CONTINUE TO MOVE INTO AND THROUGH THE WESTERN HALF OF THE MID STATE.
MOST OF THE ACTIVITY WILL OCCUR IN THE WESTERN COUNTIES NEAR
THE TENNESSEE RIVER. PRECIPITATION WILL MOVE TOWARD THE NORTHEAST AT
30 MPH. THIS ACTIVITY IS AHEAD OF A COLD FRONT THAT EXTENDS FROM
SOUTHERN ILLINOIS...SOUTHEAST MISSOURI TO NORTHEAST ARKANSAS. THIS
MORNING EXPECT SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS TO INCREASE IN AREAL
COVERAGE AS THIS ACTIVITY WILL SPREAD EASTWARD AS THE FRONT MOVES
CLOSER.
