* SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING FOR...
HUMPHREYS COUNTY IN TENNESSEE
* UNTIL 1245 AM CDT
* AT 1211 AM CDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A
SEVERE THUNDERSTORM CAPABLE OF PRODUCING NICKEL SIZE HAIL...AND
DESTRUCTIVE WINDS IN EXCESS OF 80 MPH. THIS STORM WAS LOCATED 6
MILES SOUTHWEST OF MCEWEN...OR ABOUT 6 MILES SOUTHEAST OF WAVERLY...AND
MOVING EAST AT 40 MPH. STORM SPOTTER REPORTED TREES DOWN IN WAVERLY.
* THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WILL MOVE THROUGH MAINLY RURAL AREAS OF
EASTERN HUMPHREYS COUNTY.
A TORNADO WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FOR THE WARNED AREA. IF A TORNADO
IS SPOTTED... ACT QUICKLY AND MOVE TO A PLACE OF SAFETY IN A STURDY
STRUCTURE...SUCH AS A BASEMENT OR SMALL INTERIOR ROOM.
