NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE NASHVILLE TN

...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WITH HAIL CONTINUE OVER WAYNE COUNTY AND
LAWRENCE COUNTY...
AT 320 AM CDT...CLUSTERS OF STRONG THUNDERSTORMS CONTINUED TO
AFFECT WAYNE AND LAWRENCE COUNTIES. THE STRONGEST STORMS WERE
LOCATED BETWEEN COLLINWOOD AND LORETTO. MOVEMENT WAS SOUTHEAST
AT 20 MPH. THESE STORMS WERE CAPABLE OF PRODUCING ONE HALF INCH
DIAMETER HAIL ALONG WITH WITH HEAVY DOWNPOURS AND FREQUENT LIGHTNING.
ADDITIONAL STORMS WERE LOCATED JUST EAST OF WAYNESBORO AND NEAR
CLIFTON.
THUNDERSTORMS WILL CONTINUE TO AFFECT SOUTHWEST MIDDLE TENNESSEE
THROUGH AT LEAST 500 AM. SOME OF THE STORMS COULD BECOME SEVERE...
WITH LARGE HAIL BEING THE MAIN HAZARD.
