...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WITH HAIL OVER WAYNE COUNTY AND LAWRENCE
COUNTY...
AT 210 AM CDT...RADAR CONTINUED TO INDICATE STRONG THUNDERSTORMS
ACROSS PARTS OF WAYNE AND LAWRENCE COUNTIES. THE STRONGEST STORMS
WERE NEAR WAYNESBORO AND COLLINWOOD...MOVING SOUTHEAST AT 20 MPH.
THESE STORMS WERE CAPABLE OF PRODUCING ONE HALF INCH DIAMETER
HAIL ALONG WITH WITH HEAVY DOWNPOURS AND FREQUENT LIGHTNING.
ADDITIONAL STORMS WERE OVER DECATUR AND HARDIN COUNTIES AND WERE
MOVING TOWARD SOUTHWEST MIDDLE TENNESSEE.
CLUSTERS OF THUNDERSTORMS WILL CONTINUE TO AFFECT AREAS AROUND
WAYNESBORO...COLLINWOOD AND LAWRENCEBURG THROUGH AT LEAST 300 AM.
SOME OF THE STORMS COULD BECOME SEVERE...WITH LARGE HAIL BEING THE
MAIN HAZARD.
