AT 630 PM...SCATTERED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS ARE CONTINUING
TO SPREAD EAST ACROSS MIDDLE TENNESSEE. THIS ACTIVITY IS MAINLY WEST
OF A PICKETT TO CANNON TO LAWRENCE COUNTY LINE...WITH SOME OF THE
HEAVIEST RAIN OVER WILLIAMSON AND DAVIDSON COUNTIES. MOVEMENT IS
NORTHEAST TO EAST AROUND 30 MILES AN HOUR. RAINFALL RATES OF A
QUARTER OF AN INCH PER HOUR OR MORE WILL BE COMMON. THE STRONGER
STORMS WILL PRODUCE FREQUENT LIGHTNING AND WIND GUSTS TO 40 MILES AN
HOUR.
