THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN NASHVILLE HAS ISSUED AN URBAN AND
SMALL STREAM FLOOD ADVISORY EFFECTIVE UNTIL 930 PM CDT THURSDAY
EVENING FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTY
IN TENNESSEE
MACON
AT 720 PM CDT WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED VERY HEAVY
RAIN OVER THE CITY OF LAFAYETTE AND AREAS JUST TO THE SOUTH ALONG
STATE ROUTE 52. RADAR INDICATES ALMOST 2 INCHES OF RAIN HAS FALLEN
IN THE PAST HOUR.
DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE
ROADWAY. THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO CROSS
SAFELY. VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE ABANDONED QUICKLY.
MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND.
