THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN NASHVILLE HAS ISSUED AN URBAN AND
SMALL STREAM FLOOD ADVISORY EFFECTIVE UNTIL 730 PM CDT THURSDAY
EVENING FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTY
IN TENNESSEE
LAWRENCE
AT 522 PM CDT WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED VERY HEAVY
RAIN OVER PARTS OF LAWRENCE COUNTY. HEAVIEST RAIN WAS LOCATED
OVER LAWRENCEBURG AND TO THE EAST AND SOUTH. EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT
INDICATED THAT SOME PONDING OF WATER WAS TAKING PLACE IN THE CITY
OF LAWRENCEBURG.
DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE
ROADWAY. THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO CROSS
SAFELY. VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE ABANDONED QUICKLY.
MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND.
