...A RIVER FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FOR PORTIONS OF THE BUFFALO RIVER...
AFFECTING THESE COUNTIES IN MIDDLE TENNESSEE: HUMPHREYS...PERRY.
BUFFALO RIVER NEAR LOBELVILLE...
* FLOOD STAGE: 10 FEET.
* LATEST STAGE: 15 FEET AND RISING AT 2 PM.
* RIVER FORECAST: FORECAST TO CONTINUE TO RISE AND CREST NEAR 15.5
FEET THIS EVENING.
* FLOOD CATEGORY: THESE LEVELS WILL PRODUCE MODERATE FLOODING.
AT THESE LEVELS...THE FLOOD PLAIN WILL BE INUNDATED AND SEVERAL ACCESS ROADS
ALONG THE RIVER WILL BE IMPASSABLE. LEEPER BOTTOM AND QUALLS BEND NEAR
LOBELVILLE WILL BE FLOODED.
PERSONS LIVING ALONG THE BUFFALO RIVER AND THOSE WITH RIVER INTERESTS SHOULD
CONTINUE TO MONITOR WATER LEVELS. IF YOU APPROACH A WATER COVERED ROAD, TURN
AROUND, DON'T DROWN.
