THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN NASHVILLE HAS ISSUED A
* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
MARSHALL COUNTY IN TENNESSEE
THIS INCLUDES THE CITY OF LEWISBURG
MAURY COUNTY IN TENNESSEE
THIS INCLUDES THE CITY OF COLUMBIA
* UNTIL 230 AM CST
* AT 1135 PM CST...DOPPLER WEATHER RADAR INDICATES NEARLY
TWO INCHES OF RAIN HAS FALLEN ACROSS MARSHALL AND MAURY COUNTIES
THIS EVENING. ADDITIONAL RAINFALL OF TWO INCHES IS POSSIBLE
OVER THE NEXT SEVERAL HOURS. THIS WILL PRODUCE FLASH FLOODING.
CREEKS AND STREAMS WILL EXCEED BANKFULL...FLOODING ROADWAYS AND
POSSIBLY PROPERTY. MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND IF FLOOD WATERS THREATEN.
* LOCATIONS IN THE WARNING INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO MOUNT
PLEASANT...COLUMBIA AND LEWISBURG.
DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE
ROADWAY. THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO CROSS
SAFELY. VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE ABANDONED QUICKLY.
