.A LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM IS EXPECTED TO DEVELOP OVER TEXAS ON
FRIDAY AND MOVE QUICKLY EASTWARD THROUGH THE GULF COAST STATES
FRIDAY NIGHT AND INTO THE CAROLINAS ON SATURDAY. AT THE SAME
TIME...COLD AIR FROM A HIGH PRESSURE SYSTEM WILL PUSH SOUTHEAST
ACROSS THE PLAINS. THE COMBINATION OF THESE TWO SYSTEMS WILL
PRODUCE A MIX OF RAIN AND SNOW LATE FRIDAY AFTERNOON CHANGING TO
SNOW FRIDAY NIGHT. SIGNIFICANT SNOW ACCUMULATION IS EXPECTED
FRIDAY NIGHT INTO SATURDAY MORNING. SNOW WILL TAPER OFF SATURDAY
AFTERNOON WITH ONLY MINOR ADDITIONAL ACCUMULATIONS EXPECTED.
