THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR MIDDLE TENNESSEE.
.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT
A SNOW ADVISORY IS IN EFFECT TONIGHT FOR THE CUMBERLAND PLATEAU
WHERE 1 TO 2 INCHES OF SNOW MAY ACCUMULATE. MAINLY MINOR
ACCUMULATIONS ARE POSSIBLE OVER NORTHERN MIDDLE TENNESSEE AND AREAS
ADJACENT TO THE PLATEAU. LITTLE OR NO ACCUMULATION IS EXPECTED IN
THE SOUTH.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH TUESDAY
A LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM WILL DEVELOP ALONG THE GULF COAST AND MOVE
NORTHEAST EARLY THIS WEEKEND. THIS SYSTEM HAS THE POTENTIAL TO
PRODUCE SIGNIFICANT SNOWFALL OVER THE REGION FRIDAY NIGHT INTO
SATURDAY. THE TRACK AND STRENGTH OF THIS SYSTEM ARE STILL UNCERTAIN.
UPDATED FORECASTS SHOULD BE MONITORED CAREFULLY OVER THE NEXT COUPLE
OF DAYS.
