THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF MIDDLE
TENNESSEE.
.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT
NO HAZARDOUS WEATHER IS EXPECTED AT THIS TIME.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY
A COMPLEX STORM SYSTEM WILL DEVELOP OFF THE TEXAS COAST ON SUNDAY...
AND MOVE NORTHEAST THROUGH MIDDLE TENNESSEE ON CHRISTMAS DAY...BRINGING
ANOTHER ROUND OF RAIN TO THE MID STATE. BY CHRISTMAS NIGHT...THE
MID STATE WILL BE ON THE BACKSIDE OF THIS SYSTEM WITH COLD AIR
DIVING INTO THE REGION. IT IS POSSIBLE THAT LIGHT SNOW ACCUMULATIONS...
WITH A DUSTING TO A HALF INCH...COULD OCCUR ACROSS NORTHERN MIDDLE
TENNESSEE AND ALONG THE CUMBERLAND PLATEAU AFTER MIDNIGHT CHRISTMAS
NIGHT INTO EARLY TUESDAY. THIS IS A COMPLEX WEATHER SYSTEM AND THERE
IS STILL SOME UNCERTAINTY IN THE STORM TRACK. SLIGHT CHANGES IN
THE STORM TRACK COULD ALTER THE CHANCE FOR SNOW AND ACCUMULATION.
