...SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH UNTIL 5 AM CDT FOR THE WEST HALF
OF MIDDLE TENNESSEE...
THUNDERSTORMS CONTINUE TO MOVE ACROSS THE SOUTH HALF OF
MIDDLE TENNESSEE AND AT 410 AM CDT...THE STRONGER STORMS
WERE IN COLUMBIA AND MOUNT PLEASANT AREAS...WHERE POWER OUTAGES
HAVE BEEN REPORTED.
THE AIR MASS ACROSS MIDDLE TENNESSEE HAS BEEN WORKED OVER PRETTY
GOOD FROM ALL THE PREVIOUS THUNDERSTORM ACTIVITY...WITH THE MOST
UNSTABLE AREA ACROSS THE SOUTH NEAR THE ALABAMA BORDER...AND
SOUTHWARD INTO ALABAMA.
A FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FOR WAYNE COUNTY UNTIL
515 AM CDT. THUNDERSTORMS WILL CONTINUE TO TRAIN EAST ACROSS WAYNE
COUNTY FOR ANOTHER HOUR. ADDITIONAL RAINFALL OF ONE INCH IS
POSSIBLE. NORTHERN WAYNE COUNTY APPEARS TO BE THE MAIN AREA FOR
POTENTIAL FLOODING.
