AT 1128 PM CDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR WAS TRACKING
STRONG THUNDERSTORMS ALONG A LINE EXTENDING FROM 10 MILES NORTH OF
PEMBROKE TO 11 MILES WEST OF FORT CAMPBELL TO 14 MILES NORTHEAST OF
PARIS...OR ALONG A LINE EXTENDING FROM 11 MILES NORTHEAST OF
HOPKINSVILLE TO 11 MILES WEST OF FORT CAMPBELL NORTH TO 14 MILES
NORTHEAST OF PARIS...MOVING EASTWARD AT 30 MPH.
PEA SIZE HAIL...AND WINDS 30 TO 40 MPH ARE EXPECTED WITH THESE
STORMS.
A TORNADO WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FOR THE MID STATE AREA. IF A
TORNADO IS SPOTTED... ACT QUICKLY AND MOVE TO A PLACE OF SAFETY IN A
STURDY STRUCTURE...SUCH AS A BASEMENT OR SMALL INTERIOR ROOM.
