...A TORNADO WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 545 PM CDT FOR DE KALB
AND WHITE COUNTIES...
AT 519 PM CDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR CONTINUED TO
INDICATE A TORNADO. THIS TORNADO WAS LOCATED NEAR SPARTA...MOVING
EAST AT 45 MPH.
IN ADDITION...ANOTHER STORM WAS LOCATED ABOUT 12 MILES NORTH OF
SMITHVILLE AND WAS MOVING EAST AT 45 MPH. THIS STORM LIKELY CONTAINS
LARGE HAIL THE SIZE OF NICKELS AND POSSIBLY DAMAGING WINDS TO 60 MPH.
IF YOU ARE CAUGHT OUTSIDE...SEEK SHELTER IN A NEARBY REINFORCED
BUILDING. AS A LAST RESORT...SEEK SHELTER IN A CULVERT...DITCH OR LOW
SPOT AND COVER YOUR HEAD WITH YOUR HANDS.
