FOR MAURY COUNTY...
AT 1253 AM CDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR CONTINUED TO
INDICATE A LINE OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAPABLE OF PRODUCING
DESTRUCTIVE WINDS IN EXCESS OF 70 MPH. THESE STORMS WERE LOCATED
ALONG A LINE EXTENDING FROM 7 MILES SOUTH OF MOUNT PLEASANT TO
NEAR COLUMBIA TO 10 MILES NORTHWEST OF SPRING HILL...MOVING EAST AT
45 MPH.
SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE NEAR...
SPRING HILL BY 105 AM CDT
COLUMBIA THROUGH 115 AM CDT
A TORNADO WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FOR THE WARNED AREA. IF A TORNADO
IS SPOTTED... ACT QUICKLY AND MOVE TO A PLACE OF SAFETY IN A STURDY
STRUCTURE...SUCH AS A BASEMENT OR SMALL INTERIOR ROOM.
DAMAGING WINDS OVER 70 MPH WERE REPORTED IN HICKMAN COUNTY WITH THIS
STORM. THIS IS A DANGEROUS STORM...SEEK SAFE SHELTER AND STAY AWAY
FROM WINDOWS!
