...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING CONTINUES UNTIL 400 PM CDT FOR
SOUTHEASTERN DICKSON AND NORTHEASTERN HICKMAN COUNTIES...
AT 345 PM CDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR CONTINUED TO
INDICATE A LINE OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAPABLE OF PRODUCING NICKEL
SIZE HAIL...AND DAMAGING WINDS IN EXCESS OF 60 MPH. THESE STORMS
WERE LOCATED ALONG A LINE EXTENDING FROM BURNS TO 15 MILES SOUTH OF
BURNS...MOVING EAST AT 25 MPH.
SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE NEAR...
WHITE BLUFF BY 355 PM CDT
IN ADDITION TO LARGE HAIL AND DAMAGING WINDS...FREQUENT DANGEROUS
CLOUD TO GROUND LIGHTNING IS OCCURRING WITH THESE STORMS. MOVE
INDOORS IMMEDIATELY! LIGHTNING IS ONE OF NATURES NUMBER ONE KILLERS.
REMEMBER...IF YOU CAN HEAR THUNDER...YOU ARE CLOSE ENOUGH TO BE
STRUCK BY LIGHTNING.
A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 900 PM CDT
THURSDAY EVENING FOR THE NORTHWEST PART OF MIDDLE TENNESSEE.
