.A SURFACE TROUGH STRETCHED ALONG THE CUMBERLAND PLATEAU IS THE FOCUS
OF MORE WINTER WEATHER THIS MORNING. WITH PRECIPITATION COVERING A
LARGE AREA OF MIDDLE TENNESSEE, MORE SNOW IS ACCUMULATING ALONG THE
UPPER PLATEAU, WHERE TEMPERATURES WILL BE NEAR OR AT FREEZING.

...SNOW ADVISORY THIS MORNING UNTIL 900 AM CST...
MORE SNOW IS EXPECTED ALONG THE UPPER PLATEAU THIS MORNING, AS MORE
PRECIPITATION PUSHES ACROSS THE AREA. WITH TEMPERATURES AT OR NEAR
FREEZING, THOSE LIVING ON THE CUMBERLAND PLATEAU WILL SEE SNOWFALL
ACCUMULATIONS OF 1 TO 2 INCHES THIS MORNING. AMOUNTS UP TO 3 INCHES
ARE POSSIBLE AT HIGHER ELEVATIONS. THUS, MORNING TRAVEL IS
DISCOURAGED.
HOWEVER, WITH TEMPERATURES FORECAST TO RISE INTO THE 40S BY THE
AFTERNOON, TRAVEL CONDITIONS WILL IMPROVE SIGNIFICANTLY AS THE DAY
PROGRESSES.
