THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR MIDDLE TENNESSEE.
.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT
THE REMNANTS OF HURRICANE DENNIS WILL CONTINUE TO AFFECT THE MID
STATE INTO TONIGHT. PERIODS OF MODERATE TO BRIEFLY HEAVY RAIN
CAN BE EXPECTED...ESPECIALLY WITH ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS. EAST TO
SOUTHEAST WINDS OF 15 TO 25 MPH WILL CONTINUE...WITH LOCATIONS MAINLY
WEST OF THE CUMBERLAND PLATEAU SEEING WIND GUSTS AROUND 35 MPH. WIND
GUSTS THIS HIGH MAY BLOW DOWN SMALL TREES AND/OR LIMBS CAUSING
ISOLATED POWER OUTAGES.
THERE IS ALSO A SLIGHT CHANCE OF ISOLATED TORNADOES AS IS ALWAYS
THE CASE WITH DECAYING TROPICAL SYSTEMS.
BRIEF HEAVY RAINFALL MAY ALSO CAUSE MINOR STREET AND/OR STREAM
FLOODING.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...TUESDAY THROUGH SUNDAY
NO HAZARDOUS WEATHER IS EXPECTED AT THIS TIME.
