...INLAND TROPICAL STORM WARNING AND FLOOD WATCH REMAIN IN EFFECT
ACROSS MID TENNESSEE...
THROUGH 600 AM...RAINFALL RATES OVER MID TENNESSEE WILL RANGE FROM
ONE QUARTER TO ONE HALF INCH PER HOUR IN MOST AREAS. THE HEAVIEST
RAINFALL WILL SHIFT TO THE NORTHWEST AND NORTH CENTRAL PARTS OF THE
MID STATE...INCLUDING CLARKSVILLE AND NASHVILLE. RAIN WILL
CONTINUE TO TAPER OFF IN THE FAR SOUTHWEST COUNTIES. WIND SPEEDS WILL
CONTINUE TO RANGE FROM 30 TO 40 MPH...WITH GUSTS OVER 50 MPH FOR
LOCATIONS WEST OF INTERSTATE 65. WINDS WILL BE LOWER FOR AREAS TO
THE EAST. SCATTERED REPORTS OF DOWNED TREES HAVE BEEN RECEIVED OVER
MID TENNESSEE...AND THIS PATTERN IS EXPECTED TO CONTINUE WITH MOST
TREE DAMAGE OCCURRING WEST OF I 65.
