THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR MIDDLE TENNESSEE.
.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT...
TEMPERATURES ACROSS THE MID STATE, WITH THE EXCEPTION OF THE
CUMBERLAND PLATEAU, WILL RISE INTO THE LOWER TO MID 90S THIS
AFTERNOON. THIS WILL PRODUCE HEAT INDICES IN THE UPPER 90S AT MANY
PLACES. OTHERWISE, NO HAZARDOUS WEATHER IS EXPECTED.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH TUESDAY...
TEMPERATURES WILL PEAK ON FRIDAY, WITH MOST READINGS EXPECTED TO TOP
OUT IN THE LOWER TO MID 90S FOR THE SECOND DAY IN A ROW. LOOK FOR
HEAT INDICES TO REACH THE UPPER 90S TO NEAR 100. ISOLATED TO
SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS ARE IN THE FORECAST FROM FRIDAY THROUGH THE
END OF THE PERIOD. HOWEVER, THE PROBABILITY OF WIDESPREAD HAZARDOUS
WEATHER REMAINS LOW.
