...THE FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR GILES...LAWRENCE AND WAYNE COUNTIES
WILL EXPIRE AT 900 PM CDT...
AT 9 PM...RADAR SHOWED BANDS OF MODERATE SHOWERS IN LAWRENCE AND
GILES COUNTIES...WITH LIGHTER SHOWERS IN WAYNE COUNTY AS THE BANDS
SPIRAL SOUTH INTO NORTH ALABAMA. ALTHOUGH THE POTENTIAL FOR FLASH
FLOODING HAS DIMINISHED FOR NOW... ADDITIONAL SHOWERS WILL CONTINUE
OVERNIGHT. SOME WILL PRODUCE LOCALLY HEAVY DOWNPOURS. SATURATED
SOILS AND STRONG WINDS WILL CAUSE SOME TREES TO FALL...AND THERE
WILL BE SOME POWER OUTAGES.
