DAVIDSON COUNTY IN TENNESSEE
THIS INCLUDES THE CITY OF NASHVILLE
* UNTIL 745 PM CDT
* AT 534 PM CDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED
FLASH FLOODING WAS LIKELY OCCURRING FROM A THUNDERSTORM NEAR OAK HILL
...OR ABOUT 9 MILES SOUTHEAST OF NASHVILLE. THIS THUNDERSTORM IS JUST
ONE IN A SERIES OF STORMS THAT HAVE DUMPED HEAVY RAIN ACROSS SOUTHEASTERN
DAVIDSON COUNTY THIS AFTERNOON...AND HAS INCREASED THE LIKELIHOOD OF
FLASH FLOODING. THE THUNDERSTORM WAS MOVING NORTHEAST AT 15 MPH.
* OTHER LOCATIONS IN THE WARNING INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO BERRY
HILL.
EXCESSIVE RUNOFF FROM HEAVY RAINFALL WILL CAUSE FLOODING OF SMALL
CREEKS AND STREAMS...URBAN AREAS...HIGHWAYS...STREETS AND UNDERPASSES
AS WELL AS OTHER DRAINAGE AREAS AND LOW LYING SPOTS.
