THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN NASHVILLE HAS ISSUED A
* SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING FOR...
BENTON COUNTY IN TENNESSEE
THIS INCLUDES THE CITY OF CAMDEN
HUMPHREYS COUNTY IN TENNESSEE
THIS INCLUDES THE CITY OF WAVERLY
* UNTIL 1145 PM CDT
* AT 1050 PM CDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED
SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS REDEVELOPING FROM THE CAMDEN...BIG SANDY AREA
EASTWARD INTO THE WAVERLY AREA. THE STORMS WERE MOVING SLOWLY EASTWARD.
LARGE HAIL AND DAMAGING WINDS CAN BE EXPECTED WITH THESE STORMS ALONG
WITH VERY HEAVY RAINFALL.
* THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS WILL REMAIN IN THE WAVERLY...CAMDEN AND BIG
SANDY AREAS THROUGH 1145 PM CDT.
SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAN AND OCCASIONALLY DO PRODUCE TORNADOES WITH
LITTLE OR NO WARNING.
A TORNADO WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FOR THE WARNED AREA. IF A TORNADO
IS SPOTTED...ACT QUICKLY AND MOVE TO A PLACE OF SAFETY IN A STURDY
STRUCTURE...SUCH AS A BASEMENT OR SMALL INTERIOR ROOM.
